Staycity Group are looking for an Business System Support Agent to join a dynamic and successful team. The ideal candidate will have experience with supporting, configuring, troubleshooting errors across a number of the Business Systems at Staycity.
Staycity is undergoing significant growth, and in this role, you will be able to shape the best practices in using the array of business systems across the many departments and operational processes.

We would love you to have:
- Required proficiency in IT systems & tools (Windows, Office, Remote desktop connections)
- Required proficiency with bug tracking tools & techniques (Jira, Datto, Trello, etc)
- Required proficiency with MS Office suite, in particular Excel
- Required ability to learn new software packages and processes quickly and in full detail
- Required experience in hospitality and an understanding of the processes involved in operating a hotel such as check-ins, payments, refunds, etc
- Required experience using Oracle Opera or maintaining an Oracle Opera installation
- Preferred understanding of basic networking/protocols basics, such as VPNs, HTTP, SFTP, SOAP, XML files
- Comfortable working with a wide array of people from different departments, and different backgrounds
- Strong communication skills and fluency in verbal and written English are essential

- What you can do for us:
- Act as 1st line of support for internal users of our business systems
- Perform triage and testing to evaluate the severity of the tickets raised and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Update and maintain our configuration, in line with agreed standards
- You will setup and test automated reports configured in the system (OSR & RA), including checks of email/sftp or other means of delivery.
- Assist with setting up new system installations for new hotels we open.
- You will liaise with our suppliers to raise bugs in their systems or investigate issues related to our specific environment
- You will assist with training staff, either remotely or on site. This may require occasional travel to our UK & European destinations
- You will assist with resolving integration issues between operating PMS system opera and other connected systems (Payment gateways, Channel Distribution systems, Revenue management systems)
- You will be troubleshooting issues and raise bugs with the appropriate team, or 3rd party supplier, managing the issue up to full resolution
