As we prepare for our newest opening in Amsterdam Noord we’re looking for a driven and ambitious Sales & Management Trainee to join us from June 2026 onwards.

This 10 month traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both Sales, Operations & Duty Management, giving you exposure to the commercial and operational heartbeat of a lifestyle aparthotel.

This internship is designed for bachelor hospitality students who want to develop a strong foundation in both commercial strategy and hotel operations.

You will support the two Sales Managers in driving corporate, leisure and group business, while also gaining operational experience as part of the Operations team, learning how to lead shifts, oversee service delivery and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

This role will be full-time (40 hours), and we offer interns the opportunity to spend part of their working time on their bachelor research.

This role is only available to hospitality students at bachelor level and is for a 10-month period.

We would love you to have:

  • Strong interest in both hotel sales and operational leadership

  • Currently studying Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Commercially curious and eager to understand revenue drivers

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

Previous hospitality experience (Front Office, F&B or Sales support) is advantageous but not essential

What you can do for us:

Commercial & Sales Exposure

  • Support the Sales Managers with prospecting, lead generation and account management

  • Assist with corporate outreach, site inspections and client follow-ups

  • Maintain CRM systems and support reporting on sales performance

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis

  • Support with RFP processes and contract administration

  • Contribute to local partnerships and community engagement initiatives

Duty Management & Operations Exposure

  • Support daily hotel operations across Front Office, public areas and F&B spaces

  • Act as Manager on Duty under supervision, ensuring smooth shift operations

  • Handle guest feedback and resolve challenges professionally and confidently

  • Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Ensure brand standards, health & safety procedures and service excellence are maintained

  • Help create an energetic, welcoming and vibrant lobby atmosphere
