The role:
We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our property team, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across the building fabric, plant and equipment. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems, support the guest experience by keeping the property in excellent condition, and work closely with the wider operations team to drive improvements and reduce downtime.

We would love you to have:
Relevant trade qualification in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical (or equivalent experience)
2+ years’ experience in facilities or property maintenance, ideally within hospitality or multi‑site environments
Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including boilers, HVAC, pumps and common building services
Experience with CAFM and BMS systems desirable
Awareness of statutory compliance, health & safety and preventative maintenance best practice
PC literacy and good record‑keeping skills
Nice to have:
Certification in gas safety, refrigeration, or electrical testing
Experience working with appliance servicing and carpentry tasks
What you can do for us:
Deliver day‑to‑day planned and reactive maintenance to ensure guest areas and back of house spaces are safe and fully operational
Conduct routine inspections, fault diagnosis and timely repairs to mechanical and electrical plant
Use CAFM systems to log, prioritise and close work orders, maintaining accurate records
Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and support external inspections and audits
Support cost control by completing work in‑house where possible and escalating specialist tasks appropriately
Collaborate with the operations team and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal guest disruption
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting preventive measures
Share knowledge with colleagues and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues
